The Burlington Police Department was called to investigate the discovery of a dead body in the basement of 704 S Central Avenue, Burlington, Iowa. The decedent was identified as 53-year-old Ricky Dean Wixom. On October 10, 2017, prior to the discovery of Wixom, his family filed a missing person’s report.
